• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

long distance riding and "butt" comfort ........

Yes, follow their instructions. Wash, roll up in a towel and hang to dry. Care should be on their website. I use a mild soap, actually baby shampoo, on mine when I travel.

Thanks, I can't wait to try them after all these years putting up with the heat related issues of riding.

It will be nice to have the Charles Emerson Winchester III look on my face on a hot day and say a Winchester does not sweat

I also use mild shampoo to wash them in the sink, roll them in a dry towel, stand and rock on the rolled towel, remove and hang up. If they are not quite dry in the morning, I put them in a mesh bag and tie them to the top of the cooler on my trailer. Nice and fresh for the next use.

Http://www.beadrider.com = NO MONKEYBUTT/SWAMPCROTCH or whatever you call it. I've done 3000+ miles round trip in 110+ degree temps and never been so comfortable. Highly recommended and much cheaper than a custom seat at $50.

I had one of these too and it did work pretty well.... but I just couldn't get over the 'Taxi Driver' look of having one on my Spyder.... so away it went.....;-)

Cool, wicking and no seams what so ever. For the spyderfest run, I bought a second pair and I hand wash a pair every evening and have a fresh pair for the next morning. Try them out!

http://www.ldcomfort.com

I did a test of the LD Comfort undies Saturday and a comparison test of Hanes on Sunday. While it was not a long distance, about 200 miles I feel the test was good. And I can tell you Sunday I wish I had worn the LD Comfort undies. The difference is night and day. I don't care to walk around in the LD Comfort's much but riding is much better now.

BMW Larry, thanks for sharing this.

I ordered some LD Comfort "apparel" for riding. When combined with an Air Hawk what do you think makes more of a difference?:doorag:

For me it has always been a sheepskin cover and back-rest. Had them on all my Harleys and now on my :ani29:. I always use real sheepskins and custom fit them to the seat. Not a hard job, just a couple of straps under the seat.
The comfort undies look like a good idea and I think I might try them. All that and some Monkey Butt Powder and I'll be ready for a coast to coast.

Beadrider

I have installed Beadriders on my 2 Goldwings and installed one on my 2012 Rt s. I don't care that my buddies claim I stole it from a Taxi. It works great, I just returned from a 1000 miles ride, in two days. No sore butt for me. I can't recommend it highly enough. Great purchase.
