There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We were at Best Buy tonight and I got to try the Sony demo of Google TV - got to do everything but watch TV shows since I guess they didn't have it cooked up to satellite or cable. I didn't like the controller - too small. I went to try the Logitech one but it wasn't working. I do like the fact that it's a regular full size qwerty keyboard. I think me and HDX are gonna get it for Christmas. No more laptops, no more worrying about dying batteries. Only thing, and we gotta research this more, but wonder if there is a usb port for external harddrive storage.

bumping... to find out if anyone has purchased and any comments good or bad.
I havent purchased it, but I do believe Hulu, ABC and CBS are being blocked, so you cant access any of that content from the Revue. Thats a big turn off right there for me.

We purchased one just over two weeks ago. Maybe the block is regional? Because we have unrestricted access. We watch shows from CBS.com all the time.
We purchased ours from Costco for $279... For an opinion of two weeks worth of use. This is a long overdue tool that allows the kind of flexibility that I predict will become a normal function of our TV's like the Remote is today...
