• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Locked In Reverse

Picked up my new RT Limited yesterday and getting acclimated to the machine. Tonite after I backed into the garage I mistakenly shut the key off while it was in reverse gear. Now I can't paddle shift out of reverse and it won't start ( probably cause it is in reverse gear). Dealer is closed and was wondering if anybody knew what I can do to remedy this major screw up?? I can call the dealer in the AM but wanted to try this website for help first. So am I dumb or dumber??

Is your Foot on the brake when you try to start.??

if you turn the Spyder off while it is in any gear,
all you have to do is depress the brake when you try to start it again
and it'll put it back into neutral.

:ohyea:

Step on the brake when you start your spyder.
It's no biggie. A lot if se5 ryders done that:D and I don't think it's something you have worry about, I mean "get it in neutral before you turn off spyder".
If it happens to be in gear, just step on the brake and no problem. :2thumbs:

If the "step on the brake" while you start it thing doesn't work, there is a procedure in the manual for changing the gear manually.
