• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Load POP

I have a 2011 RT-S with 2600 miles. WHile driving aabout 30 mph, my wife and I heard a load pop the felt the bike jurk to the right, like a rubber band had just snaped. Has anyone else had this happened? Sound like a motor mount broke. This is the second time this has happened, the first time was at 700 miles but on the right side. I throught it was the bolts just setting into place?

Other than backfiring, I had one really loud BOOM once-- was going 90+ down the highway --- saw a flash of fire out of the corner of my right eye and heard a loud KA-BOOM!

It was like someone fired a gun near or at me--- maybe they did!

Never figured out what it was-- kept running 90 for another 1/2 hour -- pulled into gas station and checked it all out -- really have no idea what it was--- that was 8,000 miles ago.

If you heard a loud pop and them the steering moved I would guess it's a DPS issues or your steering angle sensor is fighting the torque sensor and needs to be reset. Either way you need to get it back to your dealer ASAP. nojoke

:dontknow:
If it happened once you can Chalk it up to you ran over something on the road, But twice, take it in for a look see.
