• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Little ride last Sunday

Had a little ride with some friends Sunday.

One fun part is going over the Vincent St. Thomas bridge which gives you a spectacular view of LA harbor.

You can see the Princess Cruise ship Ruby Princess in port and you can also see where they recently parked the USS Iowa which can be toured for $10. I have been on the Iowa before when I was a kid. As I recall it was in in Washington at one time.

I'd have brewed up some popcorn and bacon grease, if I knew that we'd have a show today!

Drove around Lake Tahoe

Monday my wife and I drove around Lake Tahoe . She can't do this on the motorcycle because of her vertigo syndrom. She had no ( none, zero, zip ) problems with the vertigo on the Spyder.

Too bad our Sena system crapped out on us---- but we soldiered on to our local Road Rider accessory store and purchased a Blink mod 2 system for $ 80 each. Two required. I installed them and we fired them up today. Louder and easier to use than
the Sena system that crapped out on us.
