• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Little girl on a plane

New member
An atheist was seated next to a little girl on an airplane and
he turned to her and said, "Do you want to talk? Flights go quicker
if you strike up a conversation with your fellow passenger."

The little girl, who had just started to read her book,
replied to the total stranger, "What would you want to talk about?"

" Oh, I don't know," sai...d the atheist. "How about why there is
no God, or no Heaven or Hell, or no life after death?" as he smiled
smugly.

"OK," she said. "Those could be interesting topics but let me
ask you a question first. A horse, a cow, and a deer all eat the same
stuff - grass. Yet a deer excretes little pellets, while a cow turns
out a flat patty, but a horse produces clumps. Why do you suppose that
is?"

The atheist, visibly surprised by the little girl's
intelligence, thinks about it and says, "Hmmm, I have no idea."

To which the little girl replies, "Do you really feel qualified
to discuss why there is no God, or no Heaven or Hell, or no life after
death, when you don't know poop?"

:D Is this thread now going to dissolve under the, "No religious fist-fighting" doctrine?
I kind of figure that it's okay to believe in nearly anything...
...But when things start going dark ; that's when it's really time to start hoping that you've got the right idea!

:dontknow: Well; let's see...
We fought about Politics, computers, brand myopia, religion, helmet usage, tire pressures, tire brands, exhaust systems, oil types, octane ratings, Safety gear, radar speed checks, and DWI checkpoints...
:D Have I missed any? :D

Live, and let live; that's my motto for the day! :2thumbs:

Yes. On another thread we are in the process of fighting about what we should fight about! No joke.

Cute story, but it could just as easily be reversed or applied to another topic.

Let's not jab at people for having beliefs different than our own - science and the availability of new information have changed the closely held beliefs of many good and very well intentioned people, and no doubt will continue to do so. In the end, religion is always a matter of faith and can't be proven one way or the other.

The best that religion has to offer is a code of conduct for acting is society, and putting down others who believe differently than you is generally outside of those teachings.
