Just woke up from a weird Spyder dream...
...The new 2012's are out. The rear cargo areas are modular. They remove to leave a sleekish looking tail end like the RS. It wasn't as fast looking as the RS, but gave the RT as sportier look.
I'm test driving this at my parents' house (in Ohio), but I'm pretty sure I'm in the Carolinas somewhere with an old college classmate. I roll hard into the throttle and the front end comes up. VSS apparently helps you hold a wheelie, because I kept the front up. It was a good thing, as the front two wheels dropped off, dream axle and all.
All the sudden, the Spyder starts rising. No flying, but on hydraulics. I'm trying to look down from treetops to guide this crazy thing around my parents' yard, hoping like heck not to wreck. It's a long way down and I don't want to mess up the front end worse already dropping the axle.
Being an RTS, there is an hydraulics switch, like the rear shock has. I think it's linked to the faulty DPS, because I obviously had no intent to try to drive this thing through the grass from 40 feet up. I lower the hydraulics, still maintaining a very stable wheelie, and my buddy lines up the front axle and wheels (like putting pogos under a U-2's wings) I set into them and end my test ride in my parents garage.
I tell my buddy that's a bit too much bike for me and off we go to the basketball game, only to find the stadium mostly empty. It's not the Duke/Kentucky game we went to see, but some junior high girls game...
The alarm goes off...and here I sit.
Any dream therapists on the board? I think it's fairly obvious I'm a bit deranged in that dept. hahahaha.
