• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Liquid Glass?

Has anyone used Liquid Glass on their Spyder? I'm thinking of washing it with Dawn, then applying five or six coats of Liquid Glass, and using Tire Wet on the tires, wheels, springs and such.

Has anybody done this? How did it turn out?

I would also like to learn about this treatment.

If you do it, please post your happiness or otherwise thoughts. Many thanks.

I get much better results from modern polymer paint protectant. 'Auto wax' has come a long way from 'Liquid Glass' of the 70s.

Suggest Turtlewax Ice as a great place to start and great finish and shine. Works VERY well on both the paint AND and black trim, no residue to worry about.

There are other similar type products from Mequires, Mothers and Zaino that also work well but I keep going back to Ice for ease of use, great shine and reasonable price. I use it in prep for car shows on my GT several times a year.....
