• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi guys. I'm very active surfing the net. To me the WWW is a gigantic library of fascinating information, products and ideas. I know there is also a lot of crap but in my mind, the Internet's benefits way outweigh its shortcomings.
In any case, I have a nice cache of riding/motorcycle paraphernalia links that I think many of you would find interesting. Likewise, I hope you will also post your interesting or useful links in this thread for all to see.

I'm partial to using overalls when riding, I found this place where they offer real Army issued fly suits. I ordered me a nice 1968 Nam heli pilot one for $75 🍻

NOT WEB RELATED...BUT I THINK USEFUL

for those of you that are lucky enough to have a yellow spyder ( randy ) ,if you want to paint some trim items or a helmet, or a trunk, or side bags, etc...i have discovered a really really really close paint ( color ) match for our yellow.....cub cadet yellow-99 # 759-3940, i paid $ 12.50 for a 12 oz. spray can. this is not an exact match and should not be used as such. but as long as the colors don't touch , it's really hard to tell the difference.....buy some, paint a piece of cardboard and put it over

the hood and see what you think...it's only 12 bucks.........mike.............ps firefly says i can't use caps anymore under penalty of ...."tear me a new one" ??????

I have one G Max perfect yellow helmet but would like to make a couple others yellow. Is it safe to spray paint a helmet?

That's a good question. :dontknow: I would imagine that it depends on what the shell is made of and what sort of paint you are using on it... You don't want some bright and shiny new color eating away at the important parts; do you? :yikes:

But i'd also guess that any paint shop could tell you what combo of helmet and paint is safe too!

I love the draggin jeans I have a pair of them , but the wife doesnt like the styling so I am only allowed to wear them when im not meeting up with her after the ride. The set I have is VERY warm and great when im shoveling snow in the winter ;P . This year I have a pair of shift riding jeans that I will try out . and as far as adding my website ...

www.Spyderlovers.com ;P you are all like best friends I have never met . I enjoy interacting with you all every day .

Draggin is in my Hometown of Melbourne in Australia and unfortunately for peeps like us they dont do "Branded" products like Spyder Ryders or anything. but they have the best technology going around if you choose to wear jeans or cargo's. ;)

Something not specifically spider oriented is a couple of links for you:

www.gizmag.com - for a great knowledge of new and revised technology
www.howthingswork.com - is the vetted wikipedia of how things actually do work.

A video I am very interested in and something I am very interested for the Spider to make a model that goes into the bracket of.
