Limp Mode no way to durango?????

Ok i went out to put fuel in the brown recluse & guess what wont move limp mode appears??? i have 3codes 1615,p160e,p1610 i am spose to leave early monday 5 am will i have to drive the car i need some advice not sure what to do ray:

I am not a tech , and don't know what those codes are , but try disconnection the battery for 10 minutes and see if that does anything , since your in a pinch , you never know , worth a try .

At this point into the game i will try anything thanks for the advice btw its a 2012 rt limited if that matters

I was told by my dealer all 1600's code has to do with the T/B (throdell body) sorry for the spelling

I can tell you from several sorry experiences that 1610 is the throttle body. Sometimes you can clear it by turning the ignition on and off 4 or 5 times in quick succession. That's how I got to Spyderfest and home again for my 2nd TB replacement.

from the 2010 RT Service Manual

1615 - ecm - TPS position deviation fault - throttle problem

p160e - throttle problem

P1610 - throttle too

Can't say for sure, but what I read almost guarantees that your dealer needs to have it for repair. BUT - I'm VERY new at this and someone like Scotty, Lamonster, and others here may have better news for you.

Seems to be consistent with the throttle body errors, but best to take it to dealer to diagnose:sour:

Thanks i am a little disappointed but on the bright side i still get to come with my fellow spyderriders we will be leaving the houston area in about 90min headed to Durango ,and we will have a GREAT time while we are there:2thumbs: btw i am bringing our helmets you never know what may come up besides we spent our 5th aniv in Colorado,,,,:thumbup: in 3weeks it will be our 29th so nothing will spoil this outing cu in a couple of days

Throttle body Problem

Sorry for your last minute problem with the throttle body. Just curious if the dealer did the throttle body software update ? I had to ask to have it done when I picked up my 2012. If I hadn't asked the dealer would have let me drive home with out it. They did it before I left the lot and so far the bike has been running fine. Hope you get it squared a way.

Well hell's bell's, sorry about ya Spyder problem's, technologny is fantastic, butt can go south in a heart-beat, I guess, ya can be glad it didn't happen on ya trip. (very few dealer's in colo.), & welcome to the crowd, mine quit (bad-key code) needs a desk antenna???, from Canada, so I will attend Durango in my jeep!!, I only live 80 mi. north, sometimes life really sucks, & plans get re-programmed!!
