• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm new here , hope I do this posting correct . Just got my permit for operating a 3 wheeler . Went for first ride on a 2008 SE 5 . The Limp Home Mode came on , check DPS and VSS fault . So we headed home , it was backfireing , missing , running rough . Sure hope it's ok , can you please give me any ingormation what could be the problem , any idea's what my husband can check ? We were just about 8 miles from home .
Appreciate any and all help you can give us .
Thank you

Battery issue, too low rpm? There are many possibilities. First I'd look at the cleanliness and tightness of the battery terminals (at the battery itself, not the jump start terminals under the seat), and put a good charge on the Spyder with a battery tender. Beyond that I'd add some Seafoam or Marine Stabil to the fuel, and freshen the fuel at first chance. Other than that we need more info.

The engine check light was also on during this time . Installed pigtail , everything tight , battery charged before running . Gasoline , running with 92 high test .
