I drive the RTS silver in color. I have been told that during the day time the traffic in front of me have a hard time seeing my spyder as it blends into the road surface. At the present moment the only lighting I have is the standard lights that came with the spyder from the dealer. In the day time hours I do run with my hi beams which I have been told helps a little.

Question: What can I add or change to make the bike more noticable during the day time ? Is there a headlight bulb much stronger then the stock one ? I don't want to sink alot of $$$ into it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The easiest change would be to wear a green or orange vest on top of your clothing, that would make you more visible in the daylight.

Anything "hight-Viz" including gloves helps, but being alert helps a lot more.

Can the LED bulb for the fender tip be purchased from a local auto dealership or where could I purchase the two of them ?

I do run with the fog lights on at all times. Still being told it's hard to see me.
I will change my fender tip lights to LED. I'm not sure where I can buy the LED for the fender tips.

I agree with the High res anything. Fog lights on if you have them if not they can be $$$$ Nothing replaces
total awareness to the surroundings. First rule to riding no one sees you. You can only count on yourself.

I purchased the aftermarket fog lights Halo for 100.00 unless you have custom skills they can present
a challenge to install in the stock locations yet it is doable there are lots of lighting options.

HID headlights from KBcarstuff. They are a sponsor. $159.00 for the set and easy to install. Makes a world of difference. LED tip lights from Reggie at Tric Led. Or check at a local parts house. They're number 194. I ordered Philips True Blue 194 T10 LED bulbs for our Spyder tip lights.

Auto parts carry some brighter H7 bulbs that can help. I added a set of driving lights and fog lights purchased at walmart $38.00 for both. Our sponsors here have many solutions as well

just leave your brights on . i had the same problem, my gs is silver. you'll be very visible during the day.:thumbup: instant results, zero cost.

Hi Viz vests, helmets, and even gloves now.

Extra lights. I have A frame lights in the front and the LED light bar on the trunk.

A set of white Vader LEDs from TricLED really stand out during the day along with your high beams on. It doesn't hurt to be wearing HiViz clothing and helmet either!
For night time a set of GloRiders help in seeing you from side traffic.

lets face it

you can be driving a truck with tons of lights on it and someone will not see you, so matter what we need to keep a eye on others and not wonder if they see us. when we ride we try to keep ahead of other traffic so no one will target us. with two wheels it was a lot easier than with three wheels but i still try to stay away from people

I added Yellow stripes on the fenders, Big Yellow Spyder on trunk, and TricLed Fender lights that are white showing forward and Red to the back to define your Wideness from the rear.
You Must drive believing NO ONE sees you even sooo!

The only thing statistically proven to have reduced accidents is wearing hi-vis clothing or a hi-vis or white helmet. Beyound that you might consider the following:

For the front:
Foglights or alternate types of driving lights
TricLED fender LEDs
I don't feel the LED clearance lights add much. JMHO

For the sides:
Custom Dynamics BrightSides or alternate side marker lights

For the Rear:
Custom Dynamics or TricLED third brakelight
Custom Dynamics Mudflap Lights

In actuality, any additional lighting seems to help...but keep it legal. You don't want to attract the law instead of be seen by the other traffic.
