• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have an 08 RS and I have had the dash out taken the rubber covers off the headlights to loosen the bulb to replace them, and for the life of me I cannot get the bulb loose, the book saids to turn counterclock wise, is there a trick to loosen it? Thanks Bob

Just changed mine to piaa 's. Same issue, so I took off the windshield and straddled the spyder from the front. A lot easier to get the hands on to turn the bulb and unlock it. Same thing going back in.

There are a number of good aftermarket bulb brands out there. I get mine at buyheadlightbulbs.com.................................they carry numerous brands, their pricing is very competitive, and service has been quick and easy. You can go to more powerful bulbs (higher than stock wattage rating), but they can stress, or :cus: up you electrical system. The other route is to go to a whiter light bulb (bulb color is rated according to the Kelvin color temperature scale; BTW it has nothing to do with how hot the bulb is). HIDs are around 6000K; hence their intense white color (plus their positioning in relation to their reflector assembly, and reflector assembly design itself distributes their light very effectively).........................so I buy replacement halogen bulbs in the 5000-6000K range. They're not as good as HIDs......................neither is there cost. I'm pretty sure BHB.com lists the color temps for most, if not all the bulbs they sell. The bulbs I use are listed in my sig and are a 5150K color temp. I am very pleased with them.......................if you can get H7s in Luminics Ti White bulbs (they were out of stock when I ordered mine) they're whiter still at 5500K.............................got 'em in my car and they're the bomb!
