• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

LIGHT BULB OUT

I own a 2013 Spyder ST Ltd. The left headlight has burned out [the dim bulb, the bright still works]
what replacement bulb do I use to replace it. I called the parts department at my dealer and the parts
guy asked me what the bulb # was. I am thinking if a common bulb, I can save money at an auto parts
store. Also is it easy to change the bulb myself or should I bring it in to a dealer? Thanks,

RAPRAP

It is an Osram part number 64193. Just look in the lens and read the number. I believe it is equivalent to a H9003. Ask your parts guy and make sure.

If you are going to replace it yourself. I recommend getting a service manual. You have to remove the gauge cluster to get at it.

Isn't it just a single bulb? The shutter is open and you have bright lights and it closes and you have low beam. It may be that the OPs shutter is not dropping, I had that problem on my 2010 RT. The bulbs are available at auto parts stores for significantly cheaper than what the dealers charge.

No shutters on a ST. Dual filament bulb.

Good to know..!!

was thinking they were all alike using the H7 single bulb. Did they all change or only the ST's 2013..?? :gaah:

Only ST's, all years are this way.

Edit: I forgot about the F3. They have the same dual filament bulb as the ST.

Thanks for the replies. I found out thru a dealer that the Can Am part # for the replacement headlamp is 515176274.

2013 ST headlight bulb

What is the corresponding number of the headlight for a 2013 Spyder ST, if bought from a parts store (H7, H5, 9005, etc.)?

H4 is what xenon depot posted on their thread. Are these the same bulb?

H4 is actually the base type and can cover more than one bulb. H9003 is the matching replacement bulb for the ST which has a H4 base. On the Xenon Depot web site it does say their H4 bulb replaces a series of bulbs including the 9003.
