• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

License plate screws

Here's a weird question... For the life of me, I cannot find the "correct" size screws to mount the license plate on the F3. There are many holes, but they are much smaller than my RT. The screws I used for my old RT will not fit on the F3. :gaah: What size screws is recommended to mount the license plate on the F3 bracket? Any suggestions is much appreciated. Thanks!

Am I the only one who thinks it's strange that your dealer didn't slap on a gimmick license plate frame (with screws) after the sale?

Go to the hardware store and choose 4 (2 looks cheap) nice stainless button head allens. Drill the plastic plate holder to fit the screws. That's what I just just did on my wife's F3.

Mohamed...!!

can go to the mountain or bring the mountain to you. Measure the hole (find something the size of the exsisting holes) and buy the screws or buy the screws you like and adjust the hole..our dealers don't install plates, they come to you in the mail but some put their advertizing on...auto parts has great selection...

Yeah it would have been nice, but the dealer is about 6 hours away, so I'm on my own. I've been to my local Auto zone already, and all they had were larger screws. I didn't know if there were certain size screws I could use without creating larger holes. If I have to do that, though, I will.

What would be ideal is if I take the F3 to an auto parts or hardware store, but this cold and snowy weather's got me beat. Maybe I'm just over-thinking this, since I really have nothing better to do.:roflblack:

I have the dealer license plate frame, hate to advertise for someone when I paid the big bill. I'll do somethin. I suspect Lamonster has a 'thing'.

Use stainless washers and Nyloc nuts and you won't have to worry about anything vibrating loose.
