• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sounds like a bad socket, bad wire, or bad ground, Dudley...or maybe it's just that 100 pounds of air you put in that back tire. :joke: Honestly, you shouldn't go through them that fast unless there is a problem, like an intermittent connection. Going on and off, even almost imperceptibly, will make it burn out much faster.

Yes

Mine was burned out and my wifes glass bulb was broken. Now my lic. plate is cracked long ways. Must me a lot going on back there!

Did you use the 3M Dual-Lock pads on the plate? They should prevent that. They are specified in the Owner's Guides, and standard with the RS (but missing with the RT).

Well, I will take time and check closer. The first bulb had a break in it almost big enough to put my little finger through. Of course, since we hardly ever ride at night, who knows when that bulb went out. The others just burned out. I will visit one of the friendly truck stops and buy a couple of "Heavy Duty" 5007s and see how long they work. I just changed the fender lights with "Heavy Duty" 194 replacements...a noticeable difference in brightness. One head light burned out and so I replaced both with H7 motorcycle bulbs. I got 678 hours on them, so after one burned I went and changed them both. So this week I got 2 new front tires, 2 new headlight bulbs and an oil change...GOOD TO GO!

Sounds like time to plan another transcontinental trip. You missed a few states the first time around. :roflblack:
