• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

:yikes:Just recently my neihbors brought home a new born baby girl. The baby was a premmie and is home on a monitor w/a visiting Rn coming everyday. The family are very decent people and are having a tough time w/the situation and caring for the child. The visiting nurse popped over to my garage and explained the situation to me.Seems that everytime I startup the spyder to go to work, the child gets startled and all the alarms go off and everyone starts running. The initial percussion fm. the start up rattles the front windows where the baby is.With that said,I changed back to the stock exhaust.I was told it would only be for a few mos.No biggie.Maybe the 'little sound micron' would fit the bill. The X series micron is loud but the performance is terrific. So it looks like I'm doing alittle switcheroo soon!Anyone do one yet?:yikes:

You know when your exhaust is too loud when as you drive down a street and all the car alarms go off. Saw a Honda VTR roar down a long un-lit laneway full of cars one evening setting off a spectacular sound and light show. I think the Spyder in [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-keFfwgBz8"]YouTube- Broadcast Yourself.[/nomedia] sets off an alarm (and a dog).

You are a good guy! That was nice of you. Hope you remember that the engine is running now. :) Personally I prefer the quiet of our stock Spyder muffler, or my BMWs, most of the time. When I need a little noise, I break out the Triumph Bonneville, or to make a racket, fire up my old CB92R Honda race bike with the open megs. Interested in your opinion on the difference in the Microns, if you get one, not to mention the effect on the baby next door.

Good for you. The family next door no doubt has great respect for their neighbor. I try to convince myself there are still great people left in this world. You just affirmed that. :congrats:
