• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

LEG 1 Completed

Dave;
Thanks for keeping us updated on Forrest's travels.
Forrest; You are "Da Man". I hope that in 10 years, I'll still be riding, saying nothing about the pace you are maintaining.:yikes:

Forrest is officially in the Sunshine State. :ohyea::ohyea::ohyea: Forecast today, heavy rain and possible localized flooding, strong winds with frequent lightning.

So much for calling it the SUNSHINE STATE. :roflblack::roflblack:

Forrest is in Defuniak Springs Fl, snoring so loud we can hear him in Clearwater. He will head out later today with 384 miles ( a trip around the block) to go.

The Final Stretch

Forrest is fueling up his Spyder and his belly, getting ready to head out on the final stretch of the Triangle.

Dave thanks for keeping us informed. I woke up last night at 1:53 to see Forest in Baton Rouge. I did not see that he was taking I-10 instead of I-12. All of you have no idea how brave Forest is for driving thru New Orleans in the middle of the night. I would never do that. I guess I should have told him to take I-12 instead of I-10. Blame that on me. Well I am glad he made it safely, almost home.
Again Dave thanks for all of the information.

+2 Hopefully going through in the middle of the night there wasn't as much traffic? Kinda worried about him going through Houston on I 10. Smart guy waited until night to make that trek.

So glad Forrest is back on his home turf. Bet he's going to sleep well tonight.

Thank you Dave for keeping us posted on a awesome ryde!

Riding in Florida

Forrest and I took a little ride this evening. We were returning just after the sun had gone behind the trees and the sky was still filled with color... It was great weather for a (short) ride. Welcome home Forrest!
