• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Leftover screws, washers, nuts and bolts

After you've taken your Spyder apart and then put it back together again, what do you do with the leftover screws, washers, nuts and bolts? :dontknow:

Save them, they will most likely be a perfect replacement for the missing pieces from your lawn mower:roflblack:

Take it apart again and find out Where they go? Next time you won,t have any extra?:roflblack:

Hold on to them

Hold on to them if they are important you will soon find out...best do as stated above go back finding out may be painful physically/financially...:roflblack:

I hanvet had that problem YET with the spyder. Before the spyder, I had a BMW K1200 LT. It was a nightmare with regards to different fastener sizes and types. I bought an illustrator board from an art supply store (the cardboard type). I made a rough drawing of each panel as I took it off and pushed the fasteners into the place they came out of. This made it very easy to re assemble! the added benefit is that you do not lose fasteners - because you accidentally kick the container (don't ask how I know about this! :banghead:).

I see you're more efficient at putting your :spyder2: back together than the engineers who designed it like I am. It seems that when putting it back together I fill every hole and still have one screw left over :dontknow:

If nothing falls apart or rattles, you probably didn't need it anyway. It'll make for faster dis-assembly next time. ;)

There are couple "extra" screws and plastic pins on top of my roll around... i figure I'll keep them for now.

I just add them to the drawer in the tool chest. I still can't find the right nut, bolt, or screw when I need one.

There is "special part storage compartments" under the seat. If you put them there you won't have spare parts any more!!! Problem Solved
