There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Powersports 360 who has shops in Port Clinton and Huron Ohio have some marked-down 2013 Spyders. Two RT Limiteds, both Black Currant with black seats. One is $23,499 and the other a demo with 700 miles for $21,999. They have two RT-S SE5s, $21,699 on each with one Circuit Yellow Metallic, the other Pure Magnesium Metallic. They also have 3 ST Limiteds a Pearl White and a Black Currant each for $19,899 and a Pearl White demo for $18,999. The Rt limiteds are $7,000 and $8,500 below 2014 MSRP just saying.

Not a bad thing..!!

let's call them "last years model" "leftovers" sounds wrong. Considering there are some from 09 to 13 sounds like a good deal. Prices may even get better a
With time. Thanks for the info...

Are these heat and other issues corrected.?

Very good prices on those 2013's. Prior year models are not for everyone--but that was what I did on my last :spyder2: purchase. Bought a brand new 2011 RT-A&C in July of 2012. Akspyderlady loves it and has over 10,000 trouble free miles so far.

Maybe not leftovers

I may have gotten the wording incorrect, but the prices when compared to the new 2014 models looked like quite a bit less. Both of their dealerships are near lake Erie, what we Ohioans call the "North Shore". Not a nice place in the winter (unless you're into ice fishing) but a heck of a tourist destination in the summer months for boating & fishing, beaches etc.

It's going to have to come down to you deciding the relative importance of a GREAT price; perhaps coupled with some potential problems,
Or a GREAT bike that has had all aparent issues dealt with; but at a much higher cost...

Which is more important to YOU? :dontknow:

And I got my brand new 2012 RT-S5 in May of 2013. At the time I was pondering spending some extra for a 2013, but decided the deal on the 2012 was too good to pass up. In retrospect, it may have been the best decision.

Likewise here. I really wanted a 2013 RT-S in Circuit Yellow--but held off because I could not justify trading up, taking a hit, and only gaining the color I wanted. I would have been really unhappy had I bought it, because the new 2014's have the engine I have been clamoring for since 2010. Not even taking into account the possibility I may have had issues with the 2013. I am feeling like I dodged a bullet there.

This past weekend I traded my 2013 ST Limited that had been in the shop 5 times in less than a year for a total of 76 days. My bike was still not fixed by the way when I traded it for my new 2013 RT Limited in black currant. I paid 22,000 for the RT Limited out of the crate. The low price helped to off set the beating I took on the piece of crap ST. Hopefully this one will be as trouble free as my first Spyder RS. Fingers crossed.

Yes there are some really great deals out there still to be had. It makes one stop and wonder a little when you are talking almost $8k difference for one year.

Non-current Models

I did the very same thing when I bought my new 2012 Ford F-150 last March getting $6,000 in discounts and incentives. Not all of the 2013 RTs had heat issues and yes it's a roll of the dice (as with any new vehicle), but the $8,000 or so difference is sufficient incentive to some people to pull the trigger so-to-speak. Some are sitting on the fence like me, waiting to see if the 2014 RT models live up to their potential in the months to come. The cheaper prices on the 2013s are enticing though.

The Bargains certainly are enticing BUT if you asked the Many, Many that have heat problems I would bet that the $$$ Means little to them as they are disgusted with what they got, and BRP,s Band Aid fix-it approach!!!nojoke

On Jan 8th 2014 if I were looking for a Pretty "Sure Bet" Bargain I would search High and Low for a Super Bargain on a leftover 2012- They are still out there!!!

Staying Put for Now

I'm just going to stay on the fence a while, besides we just had our first day above zero degrees Farenheit in a while. In spite of my bargain hunting I am still leaning towards the new 1330 triple and six speed. Didn't mean to offend anybody!!

Good decision. I feel for the '13 owners and know that a good many are satisified, but then theres the others that are having a tough time of it. They're likely to get cheaper to buy, but harder to get rid of without losing your arse.

I agree you dodged a big bullet.
