• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Left side speakers cutting out - anyone else? Any advice?

Hopefully this forum will be a bit more helpful than the facebook group. I have a 2019 F3 limited and had issues with the speakers being inadequate. I thought they were just not that loud, but turns out the left side cuts in and out. Has anyone had a similar issue or can give me some advise on how to figure this out. In the meantime I have replaced the front speakers with kickers from Slingmods. They do sound a bit better, but still inadequate when half the sound cuts out.

Had similar experience on ST. Found loose wire on speaker, then later a small short at harness by handle bars. You’ve already replaced so:dontknow: can you adjust the EQ & balance /fade? Make mental notes when it cuts out-& whatever else occurs same time (shift, bumps, turns... etc

I would say you have a break in your wiring somewhere, if you have changed the speakers and it is still cutting out there's a connection or broken wire, or even a problem with the radio. sorry wiring gremlins suck, you have to start at one point and work your way back.

It seems to be completely random. Its not when hitting bumps or turning. I giggled the wires when I replaced the speaker and it never cut in and out.

I'm almost to the point of just wiring up an aftermarket amp and running new wire.

I have GREAT sound from my 14 RT .... I swapped out all 4 speakers for JBL 2 Ohm models ( not sold anymore ) .... :agree: with others that suggest wiring / connection issues ..... what I learned about changing speakers is - if you keep some of the bad speakers - that is what you will notice .... you MUST change ALL the speakers or don't bother doing it ..... the AMP is not the problem, it's the low quality speakers ..... good luck ...
