So I got in touch with my sales guy the other day....... it's been about a month since I bugged him...... it's finally, officially late...........

I was anticipating getting my Spyder by March 31st........ now I'm told that the very next yellow Spyder that comes in is mine...... it kinda sucks knowing that even though I told people I'm in the first 2500 owners group, since I ordered last year.... now I'm likely to get 3,000 something...... that'll take some explaining......

But....... I am waiting any day now to get the call!! :hot: :2excited: :2cool: :a18:

I feel your pain, having ordered mine in April 2007, and only going to get it on Saturday.

With my high number, I think I'll emphasize the "Premiere Edition" and downplay the "2500." ;D

I got mine from Motorcycle Mall in NJ, I went today to pick up my plate and I saw two unopened Spyder crates out front, maybee one of you guys should give them a call and see if they are already sold, maybee the dealers can do a transfer???

Actually I put my order in back just before the cutoff Sept. 12th or something like that...... I DID get it at MSRP and they even negotiated with me on the accessories, I got like $2400 worth of accessories for $2000 and the installation was only $400........ this was before I think anyone realized that if you got the foglights WITH the HID lights you needed a $100 harness too...... but I have that in writing so I'm all good there :bigthumbsup:

I dealt with Kevin, he's a pretty cool guy, I pounded him with questions both before and after I put down my deposit, which ended up being $1,500...... $1k to Can am.... dealer is holding the rest.

I must say that out of all the horror stories I've heard on here, I haven't had any of those problems..... The jury is still out on PDI and after the sale support and all that because I STILL don't have mine yet...... but all in all, I think they're a pretty fair dealer.

I WAS going to get it from the Motorcycle Mall in NJ...... they after an email and 2 phone calls never got back to me, so I looked up the next nearest dealer to me, and I'm glad I did.

Thanks for the info. I've been having a frustrating time with Xtreme macjines. Ordered Feb 16. They said about 2 weeks since the dealer paperwork had to be finalized. It's now April and there still not an approved dealer. Looking to go elsewhere.

yeah, I dunno if I'd wait for the dealer to get approved AND still have to wait to get the Spyder I ordered..... you might want to just jump that ship right now before summer gets here and you miss a decent riding season and end up getting yours in November or something!!
