• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

LED Wheel lights

Kratos

Ultimate Spyderlover
I want to install some LED's in my wheels. Every since I saw the Raw Designs video, I fell IN LOVE!!! :bowdown:But I don't think mechanics here would be comfortable with drilling a hole in the hub. So there's got to be another way around it. Anyone know any other ways to make the wheels look like this?!!....

GO TO.....................

http://www.gloryder.com/ SpyderLovers sponsor. You'll find their banner ad all over the site. Not exactly what you see in the video but probably close enough for what you want. Great company to work with, fast delivery and you can order different color PCb's if you want to change colors from time to time.

:agree::agree::agree:. We love our gloryders! (You might want to check out whether your state/city bans certain colors, though). We put white ones on our Phantom Black :spyder2:.

I checked out the site. Not as bright as I want, but definately A LOT EASIER. I might go this route....I love simple. Lol

I have gloryders and like them...however, I wish they had a remote function...also, the outside Allen Wrench screws strip after a while...I'm afraid I'm going to lose them...this problem needs to be addressed as the screws ultimately become loose...I am using some blue loctite to keep them in place. Other than that, they work as described and are quite cool...

Gloryders + halo kit + bunch of other stuff

That looks pretty good. Question....since the glowryders work on their own with a battery, does this mean they come on at night even when you're not driving and the bike is parked? Do they have some type of switch to stop them from coming on?

I've run 1000's of miles with no set screw at all, the o-ring holds it in place just fine.

Darkness plus motion required to activate lights. When parked in the dark the lights are not activated.

Really? With no little outside screws, the plate will still stay on? I'm afraid I'll hit a bump and it'll roll off (like the old rims on cars)...you're saying they stay put with just the pressure? That's great info to know...

They might come on for a moment if it's dark and someone bumps the Spyder, depending on the position of the motion sensor... That does happen to me from time to time. It takes darkness + motion. So a bump is technically motion...

FB LOVES her Glo Ryders!!!!! the only issue I have is ya have to completely take them off the pull the front wheels....They need to have just a bit smaller OD....

True, but removal is as easy as installation. Just keep the small Allen wrench in your toolkit.

I'll throw this in about GloRyders.....
