Great safety mod

Did mine this week with 14 lamp flexible side fire LEDs from Pep Boys. I just hope in this Texas heat that the adhesive holds. :thumbup:

Great Safety Mod

I did mine yesterday. Got the 14 LED strips from Pep Boys in Dallas. These are flexible side firing leds with adhesive backing.



Has anyone done a third brake light mod yet? If so what did you use and where did you get it from? I want to add a modulated light.

I did the ESI HMT light, and used the BackOff-XP for modulation.

Make sure you get the XP version as it does bulbs and LEDs.

Thanks! I must have missed it while in my "Shiny Goodies"-induced stupor!:2thumbs: That's obviously a flexible hunk of LEDs... What length is it and is it hooked right to the edge of the glass???

Bob, Those are 30cm 15 amber side fire led's they are thin and 3m backed not on glass
but on inside edge of mirror frame, so none of mirror is obstructed, I ran wires behind glass
and with mirror assy. removed I ran wires out to wires at plug and posi tapped,There are aready some holes you can fish thru to plug assy. They are working great and you know if your signals are on.....:duh:...
