• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Leaking antifreeze

Had my 2013 RT Ltd on tender from mid November till last week, no leak this winter during storage, took a long ride, parked it and the next morning antifreeze on floor. Added some water probably less than a half a cup made sure 2 clicks on the cap took a ride. No leak till morning. Has been getting warm during the day and below freezing at night. Leaked one day, stopped, then it colder and started leaking again. Didn't ride between leaks.
Thoughts? And thanks!

Could you be a little more specific for a non wretch? Thanks!
Do a search for radiator clamp it is out there and is the first thing to check. There is only 1 you can tighten the others are crimp clamps. If that doesn't work then there has been pump seal leaks reported.

This sounds like the classic water pump leak, I saw a small puddle under mine Saturday, took it for a ride and parked it in a new spot, will recheck tonight.

Check CincySpyder's posts from January, February of 2013, he went through the same thing.

I had exactly the same problem. There is a service bulletin from NHTSA about this. Go to their website (www.nhtsa.gov), Click search for recalls, then in the blue box @ bottom of page & click "ID Number" & enter 10053963, Check the box that says "Service Bulletins", then click "Go". You can then print a copy. It has to do with a seal failure on the water pump. I took it with me to the dealer to have it fixed along with having the 2013-9 BRP upgrades done. My dealer told me that the leak would be fixed under warranty in any case. Good Luck!

Remove right side top and middle panels. Look for the radiator hose at the top of the water pump. There is a worm drive hose clamp on that hose at the pump. Try to tighten it but don't over tighten. I had the same issue on my 2012 RTS. That clamp took three full turns. Took care of the leak. You can tell if that clamp is leaking. You'll see a trail of fluid down the face of the pump.

Also check your coolant cap. If it is not fully turned to the second detent, it can force water out the overflow when hot...usually after shutdown.

had similar issue---was hose snap ring clamp was loose

I had the same issue--come to fine out the snap-ring clamp on the hose was loose and the dealer repositioned and replaced the snap ring clamp. I asked then if there was anything to do to prevent it, I was told there are hundreds of the snap ring clamps on the Spyders- and it's a fluke and never know when it will or if it will occur.
