• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So... In buying baby stuff online you find a lot of unique things and I have found numerous online shops that personalize stuff like shirts. In this case a onesie that I couldn't help to take some liberties with for your amusement.

I present the most Unofficial "Official" SpyderLovers.com Baby. So she isn't a baby anymore really, but I bought this onesie a while ago, and it was and still is huge on her. It is for an 18 month old infant, and Leah is still so tiny that she fits in 9 month clothes.

Can you believe that she was born at 1 pound 4.2 ounces? She amazed us in the hospital's NICU for 79 days, and has continued to everyday since she has been home!

And her latest video full of giggles.

She now says "Hello", "Kitty" - though she still isn't sure what a kitty is, but she knows Hello is associated with the phone. Bye-Bye, ut-oh!, and Yay! are still her favorites when she gets chatty.

Now... I am posting this to reach out to many of my Spyder friends and family in order to raise money for the March of Dimes. We are walking in the March For Babies walk this coming Saturday. Last year we raised $4190.00. This year I've had to revise my goal from $5k to beat last year's by $10....

In order to do that, we need to raise only $320 more by Saturday. If we don't make it, I still feel good about what we've accomplished and I thank all of you so much for your support in this. I will say this... This takes a lot of work and a lot of friends to raise this amount. My wife sends out mailers and thank you notes every year and spends days on that process. It also sometimes feels awkward asking for donations, but it is something that we believe in. The March of Dimes and the research they have funded is what allowed Leah Claire to be considered "viable" at birth and develop into a normal, if still tiny infant/toddler.

If you would like to donate: http://www.marchforbabies.org/leahpaquette

Next year I am thinking of joining you guys at Spyderfest... We have to see what our goals are for the walk come this time next year. I can't think of a better excuse to not be in Cuba, MO right now though, can you?

Finally - Thanks again Lamont!
