Our RT handled well, I thought, until we laser aligned it. Also had even tire wear on it as well.
I didn't realize how it should handle till it was set correct!

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm with you fellas..
I agree with the all the above. It would be nice if the alignment was perfect from the getgo. After some uneven wear, and balance issues, we figured out how to get the wheels balanced, and had Precisyon laser align our 2011 RT this summer in Durango. It is now smooth and perfect.

Worth the Small Expense OTD
As part of my pre-buy research I looked thoroughly into laser alignment read every owner comment about it on SL. When I picked up my Spyder and asked the tech at Honda of Winston-Salem how far out of alignment it was he said, "Not much but enough to justify having the job done as part of the OTD deal." FWIW, I would not have purchased the trike from a dealer that didn't have the laser alignment system. It seemed to be a very worthwhile investment. JMO. Spyder rides like a dream!

:congrats: :clap: :2thumbs: No doubt; There's always going to be some, that make it out of the factory aligned perfectly. I'm glad that you got one of them! :thumbup:
Hard to believe
Is it really true that BRP designed a vehicle that requires a laser alignment before delivery even though the vast majority of Spyder dealerships do not have such equipment and don't have any plans to buy it? My dealer doesn't have the equipment and my RT-S handles better than I expected, after I got the right amount of air in the tires. Maybe I just got lucky. If I am ever near a laser alignment place, I think I will have it done just to see if it makes a difference.
