This is my latest project. Started out with a Nu-Way trailer I purchased over 20 years ago. Designed and built a box on the frame to carry scuba tanks, diving gear and camping gear.
It had one drop down panel on the side to help in loading/unloading the heavy gear.
I removed the box and tore it apart saving the reusable hardware. I treated a new piece of plywood that was longer than the original and bolted it on the frame. Installed new LED tail lights and wiring. Bolted on a X-Cargo box from Sears to the plywood. Added some eyebolts to front of the plywood to work the ones on the side to tie down a cooler.
Put on some yellow DOT reflective tape to the X-Cargo box for better visibility to the motoring public.
When I get back from SpyderFest, I'll be checking the wheel bearings and adding something extra to the rear to act as a bumper to better protect the tail lights.
