• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lateral Side Panel Broken

I just knew it was going to happen sooner than later, the hook on the side panel broke off and no amount of super glue was going to fix that. A new Panel is $150.00 but thanks to Bob Denman for pointing me towards Big Bike Parts Inc. I ordered a pack of plastic rivets and for less than 10 bucks fixed loose panel.:yes::bowdown:

Need to mention though that drilled the hole by hand, with a sharp drill bit I turned the bit with my hand then finished with a rat tail file

That's good information to file away for future reference. Hopefully I won't need it.

Just out of curiousity, do you know what caused it to break?

 But on the bright side; at least there's no mystery as to the cause...
:congrats: on your innovative repair! :firstplace:

I did the same thing with one of the attachments at the front of the same panel. I was able to use a plastic epoxy to reattach it and filet around the piece. It has worked so far. Good to know there is another option.
