• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Late for Work Again

It sure WAS foggy this morning, wasn't it? My windshield and visor soaked up the mist something crazy riding into work today.

I keep reminding myself to get gloves with one of those "finger wipers" on them, never get around to it... coulda used them this morning!

How about "pin lock" shields; heard their pretty effective:thumbup:

I have Pinlock, swear by 'em-- but they prevent fog on the *inside* of the visor.

My problem this morning was just plain' ol mist on the *outside* of the visor.

Normally I don't have that problem because I run a tall (24") windshield that blocks all the rain from hitting my helmet, but today was fog, and the fog had no trouble at all condensing into mist on the visor. No biggie, easily wiped away, just making chitchat about the glove wipers I've seen.

VISION PROBLEMS

A deerskin "Shammy" works great as long as you can work out a way to keep from lettin it blow away....I have mine tied to an old lenght of spring type phone cord...not the most attractive but who cares....:gaah:....:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:.....Mike.....

LOVE my pin lock shields!
they turned my Nolan N43 form the worst for fogging into the best non-fogging helmet (i also use a Shark EvoLine2).

both WILL fog when the temp/humidity is just 'right' but the Nolan is now much better at not fogging (or only fogging at the very bottom).

also, my winter gloves have a wiper blade on the left thumb...GREAT for bug removal but have not used for fog or water.

Funny, I've been having a different problem.
I get to work on time, but going home my 22 mile 35 minute commute has grown into a 70 mile 2 hour trip......................................

That often happens...
"There's a coffee shop up in that Town that has the BEST fresh donuts!"
and another detour is born... :2thumbs:
