Last rides on Mackinac Island's ice bridge captured on video

The ice bridge from the mainland of Michigan to Mackinac Island has been closed due to warm temps and melting ice.

This is beautiful and scary.

Looks bumpy but fun. Wonder what top speeds one can hit or if there's a speed limit? I know with ice roads in the arctic, trucks need to be at a certain speed to prevent making standing waves that break up the ice.

No other bridges. Boats in summer, snow machines in winter. Looks cold.

I've gone over the bridge to the UP on the Spyder and on two wheels. It's definitely an exciting ride, and should be on the list of rides for everyone to do.
