Last ride 2011 and First ride 2012

It was a beautiful day here in Mississippi for our last ride in 2011, in the low 70's. Hubby and I rode down to Hattiesburg Cycle to have the new muffler (warrant work) installed, new front tires and alignment. We figured that my :spyder2: alignment was not correct from the beginning and that is why the front tires wore early. It's riding so different now.

Now it's just about time for us to leave for our first ride in 2012 with our friends to Ezell's on the river. Going to have blackeyed peas, greens and fish. For sure we will have a great 2012.

I wish each and everyone many safe miles in 2012. Hope to meet some of you on the road.

Just got back from my first ride of 2012:yes:. 2 hrs. :yes:32 deg. 27 mph winds with gusts to 41 mph. Local water ski club was going to put on a show today :clap:but the wind was just too high :dontknow:.

We went out to a friends last evening to ring in the year new.... on my RS . The first ride of 2012 was the 'long way round' ryde home just after 1am, Jan 1st., 2012 ! 25F, crisp and clear sky!

Wet 2012 Ride 4 Me

Happy New Year.
Started my riding year in rain and mid 50's for the annual polar bear ride.

Today is high winds and 30's...

Rode yesterday and today, temps around 32 degrees. Thank God for first gear, and or chaps

Last ryde for 2011 was saturday the 31st. Temp finally got up to 64deg (so did the winds not 64 mph tho!! off and on in the 30's) Went on a twisty I'd not been on before and pretty much the only one out there. Met a couple 2 wheelers traffic almost non existant. Soo could go at my pace and get lotsa looky see here and there. Was a BEAUTIFUL day:2thumbs:. Will get another one like it maybe, on Thursday the 5th. Jan. Gotta love goin in the warmer stuff!!! Wishing all a Happy new Year and hope to see everybody at the Spyderfest!!:yes:

3 ft of snow and zero degrees here. I got about 60 days to go before I can fire up the Spyder and ryde. (Last year, March 3rd--first ryde).
