• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Last Day

Congratulations on your retirement! My last day of work was 12/31/18. My big Spyder trip will be the NorCal Spyder rally in September. Looking forward to it!!

Congrats on your impending retirement!

Mine is an 06 , paid for with only 150K on it ,I bought it new, one of the best years they made. running empty I get 23 , pulling the trailer I get 17 if I hold it at 60, anything faster than that your out of control and just don't know it. The Bighorn is grate for long term stays but it ain't no weekend camper. When we go for our big ride I pull a little Aspen tent trailer and my wife pulls a cargo trailer.

I was wondering if you'd be taking the RV. What about the dog and trailer?

We are going to leave Trina home with our Son and Daughter-in-law they have acreage and she is 11 years old and I worry that a three month trip will be hard on her.

:congrats: reaching retirement Enjoy it.

Me on the other hand I'm looking for work, I am still in the work force. I've got 6 more years until I can retire.

I am soooooo looking forward to retirement.

That sounds like a VERY good plan!

Are you ever going o be heading this way?

After we get to Boston, we are planing on heading to Wisconsin by way of New York thru Niagara Falls, Lansing Michigan, we may take a Ferry across Lake Michigan just to avoid Chicago, because we will have passed thru there on our way to Boston and then will return there after we visit my wife's mom in Wisconsin to start our ride home on Route 66. I would like to look you up while out there.

That 10k mile trip sounds great - enjoy. I am looking forward to retirement myself in 2.5 years - July 2021.
