• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I had the laser Alingnment done on my 2013 ST-S at Spyderquest. The Rolo guys did a great job. I felt the difference as soon as I rode it. Now that I'm back home and riding on familiar roads boy can I tell the difference. I think it was the best money I have spent on the Spyder yet. I would advise everyone to look on to doing it.
 
Also had my bike aligned by Rolo while at SpyderQuest. Felt an immediate difference after the laser alignment! A major improvement in steering.... and a big thank you to Mike and Norm!

Had mine done Friday morning at Progressive by Norm and Mike. Feels great but it's the wife's ride so we will get the real test this weekend.;)
 
had mine done at spyderquest as well. the rear tire was 1 1/4" out of alignment with the front. had always wondered why i had worn thru the wear bar on one side of my tire before the other! dragging the tire around a corner when it's balooned up in the center will do that!!! a big thank you to norm and mike!:firstplace: well worth the money!

Still catching up with sleep...flew home last night...WHEW that was a fast show . One thing I did learn At Spyderquest is the computor "type" chip for the trick rim lights is located Inside the plastic cover and IT HAS TO BE REMOVED TO DO AN ALIGNMENT...the mandrel adapters for the laser system has to go into the spindle and bottom out. So for any of you riders out there the control box aka trick lights monitor has to be removed. One person at Studio Motel had too use a pry bar to rip them out because he had put them in with lock tight...think about the install before you adhere them.

And a huge TY to all loyal Spyder riders...this technology was invented for my race cars BUT adapted to my wife's Spyder and we have proved over and over again that the laser alignment WORKS...as we say in racing " it is time to throw the string away...there IS a better way " :thumbup:

Just curious as to the cost of an alignment.
 
Even at $129.00 still the best money you can spend for your Spyder. Now that I'm back riding on familiar roads the difference is even more noticeable. Can't even think about riding on a non-aligned Spyder.:bowdown::bowdown::yes::yes::yes::yes:

The biggest problem we have is lack of dealers...2 things to think about

#1 : Norm is a traveling Laser Alignment technician, if the riders can get their club together Norm will travel to your location and do alignments

#2 : Mike has a location in Landrum, SC , same scenario Mike will travel to NC or SC to do a clubs alignments

No not as long as your tire tech doesn't mis-aline any thing

The laser align should be good for life as long as you don't hit a pot hole, curb, hit a deer , accident etc.

This is supposed to happen next May 2-10 so we have time to get things straight. I have given Larry Hammond your number and he said he would try to set things up. It is about 3-4 hours to Landrum. I might just take a ride up there and get it done if he can do it.
