• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

was told ,even when new you should have it done . if you had someone other than the
dealer do it, what are the specs they need, or how would they get them. i know
im getting ahead of myself, not having mine yet but just gathering all the info i can
so i can hit my dealer with it. i hear toe in is all that can be set. thanks for any and all info.

Yes

They pretty much all need it. Yes, only toe can be adjusted, but 99% are off. We did 50 last week, and none were in spec. See spydercomfort.com for a list of laser alignment dealers. Insist on a Rolo/Outlaw laser alignment! It's the only one approved by BRP. Joe

What he said!

I had mine done last week at Spyderfest by Squared Away and Wow!!! what a difference it made..........Thanks Joe & Ann for the great job you did.:firstplace:

I have done quite a few and have not seen one yet that was in spec except my own F3 that Lamont did before I bought it. Some are worse than others but most are far enough off that a significant difference is noticed by the driver. Lower tire wear is usually enough to offset the cost of the alignment over the life of one set of tires.

Don't worry...

If they do laser alignments on three wheelers they will know what the specs are. Just make sure they are able to reset the sensor with the buds system. Those that do slingshots don"t normally have the buds program.... I have had mine done twice due to wheel/tire changes....(Squared Away is the best)..:firstplace:

I would not pay anyone to do the alignment if it wasn't ROLO. Can-Am aligns the spyders before they deliver them to a customer, but it is not as accurate as a ROLO alignment. Go to the Spydercomfort.com/dealers link mentioned in an earlier post and find one close. If there is not a dealer close check the independents as well, you may find one that is coming to your area.

Kalamazoo

We will be in Kalamazoo in June. If you can wait that long, we would be happy to square you away! Joe

Thanks

I must have hit the jackpot as the 1% that did not need it. Picked up my RT this morning and no adjustment was needed.

got my rts this pm and dealer said they had ordered the new laser system and when it came in they would do mine
for free. cant do any better than that.--irv

Yikes!

Tell you what, I'll check it for you. I will be in Kalamazoo in June. Ride over, I'll check it. It takes a few repetitions to get it right. You can see for yourself if it is right. It's math. You will be able to see for yourself if it is right. No question; it is in spec, or not. If it is, you will know. If not, I will square you away! Around the lake - an easy ride. Joe
