• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Laser Alignment

Taking the advice of a few fellow Ryders, I traveled to Brewer Cycles in Henderson, NC for a Laser Alignment. From Virginia Beach, it is a little over 150 miles one way. Although the ride down was uneventful, it was still a nice ride. Arriving at the Dealership, I was greeted in the parking lot by one of the nicest salesman who inquired about my visit. Told him I had an appointment, and he politely told me were I could find the serviceman. I was truly impressed with the dealership and all the staff that was there. I was introduced to Chris Brewer, the owner, and talked to him at great lengths about the 2014s that they had on site. My alignment only took about 45min to an hour, with the technician telling me my Spyder was not that far off. He also stated he had corrected the slight toe in the alignment. Talking with the Spyder sales rep, I learned that Custom Dynamics was right down the road about 20mins. Had I not promised another fellow Spyder Ryder that I would stop by his house in Henderson, I would have ventured on. It's probably a good thing I didn't stop by Custom Dynamics, because I was sure to have spent a few bucks for some more farkles for the bike!!! Remember, I had to promise my better half that I would not come back home riding a 2014!!! Imagine how hard that was!!! As for the alignment, there is a noticable difference in the handling of the Spyder especially in the curves. I could be mistaken, but there was a noticable ease of steering on the ride back home. To enhance my driving experience, I plan to order the BajaRon Anti-Sway bar in the near futrue. From what I'm told and what I have read on the forum, this is the way to go. For some of the local ryders on this end of Virginia, I would highly recommend a visit to Brewer Cycles for the Laser Alignment. As it stands, this is our closest Dealer who offers it. If there is an independent entity offering this service in our area, I am unaware of their existence and hope there is no misconception that I am trying to divert their services elsewhere. I am just trying to get the word out about Brewer Cycles as being a viable option for those looking to recieve a Laser Alignment. And for those same individuals, Custom Dynamics is literally right around the corner to satisfy your farkle desire!! Two birds with one stone kinda' thing!!! Anybody wanting more information about Brewer Cycles can PM me. And BTW, I ran into Ken (BandWagon) while I was there. He came down from Northern VA to have his Laser Alignment done by Brewer Cycles as well. He is who I got the idea from. Thanks for the advice!!! Happy and Safe Ryding To All - John

They are some of the nicest folks around. I'm in the process of making an appointment for Bruisersbaby's RTS to be checked out. We've been there twice and have no complaints at all. A friend is looking at getting a 2014 RTL and I highly suggested he go to Brewers.
