• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Laser Alignment question

I have some tire wear on the insides of the tires. I still have some miles left in them. Would it be OK to get the alignment then change them? I see ROLO is going to be in Sedona AZ early Nov and since that will be the closest probably for a long time. I live in Albuquerque NM and was wondering if it would be OK to do the align before buying new tires. Thanks in advance for advise.

The laser alignment fixes toe in/ toe out, I would say go for it.

Of course someone more knowledgeable may disagree. Lol

I asked the same question before getting mine done at spyderquest. the answer is it will not change anything by changing the tires, so go for it!

I asked the same question of Lamont. His answer was the laser alignment is done on the hubs, not the tires. So go for it... Stan

I had some inside wear on the Right front. Laser alignment later, the wear of the rest of the right front seem to balance out and
I have at least 4000 miles since and I expect to keep ryding on. Not sure of your wear, but highly recommend the laser alignment to salvage what you have and to extend what you will get when you replace the tires. I do recommend the 'zeroing out' of the steering after the alignment. When mine was 'zeroed' I felt an even better steering balance. Good luck!:2thumbs:

NEW NAME

We are going to unveil a new logo for the Spyder Laser Alignment System..it was always just called ROLO which was a shortcut name for the high school pals of Robinson and Loescher but it sounds too "soft" for the Alignment

So ROLO will still be the name of the floorboards but OUTLAW LASER ALIGNMENT will be the new name for the alignment system

check it out : http://www.spydercomfort.com/alignment.htm

I sure Hope so. It's 375 miles one way.
I-40 can be a nightmare with the wind just brutle.
I figure living here in NM this is my only chance for along time.
I love Sedona Thinking of retiring in that area.
