Laser Alignment in SC

I live in Greenville SC and would like to get the laser alignment done on my 2014 RTS. Does anyone know of any dealer in SC that has the laser alignment and the trained personnel to actually do it correctly. Thanks for any suggestions.

I just had mine done by Performance Powersports in Seneca. They did a good job and it did make a difference in the handling. They will check it for free. They charge $120. for the alignment but, the total bill will be $140.40. They added on a few extra charges that I didn't know about.

$6.00 Hazardous Waste Disposal :yikes:
$2.40 Shipping/Doc Handling :gaah:

Total $140.40

I have no idea what hazardous waste would be involved or what shop supplies would be consumed?????

i was told once at a car dealership that: SHOP SUPPLIES are usually the rags they use to wipe their hands with... HAZARDOUS WASTE DISPOSAL is having those rags washed...
i would imagine that shipping/doc handling, was them bringing your SPYD3R into the service area....

Not sure how close to you but we will be around Fort Mill area starting sept 16th. Have done around 100 spyders and know what we are doing.

Charging for shop supplies and hazardous waste is a fairly common practice, hadn't heard of anyone charging to document handling before. The reason for the shop supplies and hazmat is that the typical work order is going to involve some chemicals, either in cleaning or lubing, etc. That keeps them for charging you for a full can of lube when the lube cables, etc.

If all they did was align your bike, not even cleaning it afterwords then you may want to contest the charges with the service manager.

Now the dealer I used in Florida (Central Florida Powersports in Kissimmee) used to act like I had kicked them if I told them not to bother detailing the bike when it was done. They also topped off the tank whenever the bike was in the shop. In that situation I would not quibble with the standard shop supply type charges.

Laser alignment in SC

Thanks for pointing me to Bridgett @ Powersports of Greenville. I stopped in today and they are expecting to start laser alignments in 2-3 weeks. The last time I spoke to her about this several months ago they didn't offer it, guess I need to stop in a say hello more often and find out what's knew. Bought my 14 RTS-SE6 from Powersports and they have all been the best.
