• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Laser alignment and new tires near Austin?

Can anyone recommend a dealer or tire place that can do laser alignment?

Think it's about time for new fronts.

Also, any particular recommendations for 2009 RS?

I am actually in Georgetown Texas just north of Austin. Not sure but don't think the local dealership has laser alignment yet.

we are 3 or 4 hours away ....this weekend on Saturday Nov 9th Spyderpops will be at our place in Friendswood to do Laser alignments....just saying

Tires
Just so you guys what these tires should cost out the doorincluding install and balance. Falken ZE 912 is $126.70, Kumho Ecsta AST is$142.90, Toyo Proxes 4 is 175.30, All are good tires and in stock at my son'sstore. The Kumho and Toyo are the best in wet conditions. Now if you are havingtrouble hooking up on the drag strip and still want to drive it there try theToyo Proxes RA1 at 231.46 installed. Not good in the rain though.

FOR THE UMTEENTH-MILLION TIME....
KUMHO AST 225/50-R15

Michelin HydroEdge 215/60R15 on mine. The slightly larger tirediameter has not caused any Nanny issues and now has my speedometer alwayswithin 1 mph of the GPS speed & often they read the same speed. TheHydroEdge is discontinued & is replaced with the Michelin Defender,
Front are 175/65R14 & are slightly wider than the OEM.

Ordered the Toyo tonight. Got it from onlinetire for $112 shipped.

ALSO THESE

At the link Dan posted ABOVE, they also sell the Yokohama " S " drive in 185/55-14 , ( get the 80 load rating ) ( the tire rack rates it very highly ) it's a " V " rated tire. $ 76 each ..shipping depends on where you live........I plan to use these on my next front tire change , they also have the largest footprint of any front tire you can put on the Spyder .....and they will fit with NO ISSUES ( 2008 to 2012 GS/RS/RSS )......Mike

BlueKnight I know you are a performance rider like me so the Yokohama looks very interesting.

Why the 80s and will the average dealer (which is all I have) have any problem mounting and balancing these? Sadly no laser alignment here.
