• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

we will take a brief break at the searchlight and head over to primm to fuel up and may be 5.99 primerib at the primm valley resort. if you wanna get some shopping done while we are there, we can have like 1 or 1 2/1 hour of free time before we head back. but let's do ryde back together so we don't have to wonder if everybody made back safely..

it looks like it's going to be coooool 85 degrees on saturday.
bad news, my spyder had to be towed to dealer again, this time it broke down 220 miles from home.:(:(:(:mad::mad::mad:
i just dropped it off at proshop and can only pray it gets done by friday.

If the weather stays reasonable, and your bike gets back on the road, and the stars and the planets align.....we'll be there!

Again? What now?

it's the front sprocket again.
it started to make that funny noise at decel but i did not think it was the sprocket again as it was replaced 2 month ago but less than 80 miles later, i was stranded in the remote desert area on tiny 2 lane highway. yes that bolt is free spinning again but this time belt did not get damaged. lucky that i had full strength signal on my cel phone.
:mad:i called for tow truck and dealer in vegas to order the sprocket and bolt because i am coming home on tow truck again.:(

Vegas Ryde June 12th

Just found out about the ryde on Saturday. Right now, my bike is in the paint shop :2excited:...may or may not be ready by then. Crossing the fingers! Worst case, I will not make this one...but will be ready for the next one. Keep it Spyder!

the ryde is almost here and my spyder repair looks like it will come down to last minute...
part is here but spyder tech have been out of town till yesterday afternoon and he has got a lot of work waiting for him. service department knows about the spyder ryde tomorrow so i am sure they will get it done but just not giving me a definite yes, just in case.

Thanks Ken. Linda and I had a great time. She was especially impressed with how friendly everyone was and wanted to know when the next ryde would be. Another benefit was she thinks she'll just ride with me instead of riding hers the next time. :ohyea:

spyder ryders are generally friendly but this bunch is especially friendly for sure.:thumbup:

i just got done with oil change including hcm filter and the fuel filter. i did not know manual called for fuel filter replacement every 19k. i got 36k on and it was never changed.:opps:
time for long test run.:ohyea::ohyea::ohyea:
