• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lamonts cat bypass

Q on wrapping pipe

waiting on the bypass to arrive and also ordered the heat wrap 50ft of 1" and 50ft of the 2 inch, can of heat coating spray and a dozen steel tie wraps. Probably enough to do three Spyders. Question though, should I wrap the pipes and headers before installation or after?:dontknow:

They put it back in learning mode so it would re map itself and it does sound different. It has a little throatier sound but not really louder. It went from an alto to a tenor as far as tone.

Does anyone know what "put it back in learning mode" means? I imagine that the poster is referring to something the dealer did with the ECM, but I've never seen any reference to "learning mode". Is this a procedure that will help the ECM better tune the fuel mixture after the addition of the cat bypass? And if so, wouldn't that happen anyway?

After you finish with the cat bypass install, start the spyder and let it idle for 15-20 minutes for the ECM to recalibrate to the new exhaust.

When you do replace the CAT also replace the item 707600650 Pipe Slip Joint 2 each and 514053677 exhaust gasket.
