Having just attended Spyderquest, I saw a number of Spyders with Lamonster's RIP Floorboards. All of the owners seem to like them a lot, so now I'm giving them some thought as well. Before deciding whether to go for them, I'd appreciate hearing some real-world feedback from those of you who replaced your stock pegs with them (particularly on an F3, but I'd like to hear about other models as well). Specifically:
1. What was your specific problem or issue with stock pegs that you hoped the RIP floorboards would address? And how well (or not) did the floorboards address those issues?
2. Did you install the RIP boards yourself? How difficult was it? (I am generally NOT a DIYer.)
3. Or did you have your CanAm dealer (or someone else do the installation for you)?
4. Finally, would anyone know how much higher or lower your feet are (compared to stock pegs) when you put your foot in roughly the same position on the RIP board as your foot was on the peg?
Any real-world experiences which address some of these questions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
