• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lamonster STS project gets wrapped!

Lamonster

SpyderLovers Founder
Well not really a wrap but I did get some graphics done by Pete at Powersports Wraps. This is the third Spyder he's done for me and once again I couldn't be happier. I left my place Thursday morning and headed to Erie PA to have Pete do his magic. I had an idea of what I wanted but like always that changed and evolved to what I have now. Pete and his family are some of the best folks to work with and now it's more like visiting a family friend than it is a business trip. They are a true inspiration of what a working family should look like. Love these guys.

I got there just after 5pm and Pete started washing it down as soon as I got there. We wound up working on the design and installed a couple of pieces well after midnight. The next morning we were back at it trying to get me out of there before the bad weather hit. I got out around 11am but that was the beginning of the cold front that I was riding into. It was raining so hard that the cars were pulling in under the bridges and there was no place for me to pull off. Within an hour all my "waterproof gear" was soaked and it was cold and the wind was blowing hard. I had the worst 600 mile ride I've had in resent memory and I was just glad to make it home alive and I was very thankful I was on three wheels and not two. I shivered for about 300 miles of that trip so much that I pulled a few muscles. It was my 33 wedding anniversary and I was hell bent on making it home alive. I pulled into my town about 10:30pm and headed straight for the carwash, there was no way I was going to show my wife my Spyder looking like that. She loved it and so do I and the feedback I've been getting here at Spyderfest has been good. I think we did it again. :doorag:

So that was a little over 1200 miles in two days and then I had a day to install my Corbin seat and a few other mods and then leave for another 700+ mile day to Spyderfest. 1900 miles and a lot of work with little sleep and I still feel pretty darn good. That's the Spyder venom flowing through my veins. :spyder:

I just want to say thanks to Pete and his family for giving me their undivided attention once again and helping me to make my Spyder stand out in a crowd. You guys are the best..:firstplace:

First of all,,Congratulations on your Wedding Anniversary!!!
I was watching the weather and knew you were in for a tough day getting home. Glad you made it safe.

Somehow I knew this would happen:
"I pulled into my town about 10:30pm and headed straight for the carwash"
Yep! I've done it too. :2thumbs: See ya at the 'fest.

Lamont,

It was great to see you and get to spend some time together, although short. I must admit that I was thinking you were going to choose a bit brighter color combo when we started but
after hearing your vision for this Spyder I understand why you chose what you did. We always enjoy getting to see you & work with you on one of the most looked at
Spyders on the planet. We appreciate the opportunity as well as the challenge to make the Lamonster Spyder a one of a kind.
