• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lamonster Power Plate

The fuse near the battery was marked at the top with a "5", but it had two prongs. It that a ten amp fuse?

I yours says 5 then its a 5 amp.

FYI-
Do not put a larger fuse in as there are other factors to determine fuse size. Ex: Wire size etc. Could cause more problems by increasing the circuit protection (Fuse)

OK

Thanks Trikermutha. I did replace the original fuse with a 5 amp fuse and will follow your advise to not increase the amps.
Curious that at least one power plate came with a ten amp

Stick with what came with the unit unless advised otherwise.

Wire size, specs on the USB can make the difference on what it is rated at for what it can handle .

Not enough information on the ten amp post to comment

Good Luck

We have revised the power plate power line. We now remove the glass fuse and replace it with the posi-loc fuse holder with a 7.5 amp fuse. The 18 gauge wire can carry 7.5 amp continuously and there is no need to have two fuses.
