• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lamonster Freedom Windshield

I just installed the Freedom Windshield from Lamonster and have the following observation. The Windshield Strips that cover the mounting screws are loose. The Freedom Windshield appears to have larger square holes where the strips latch into and the strips are not held tight and are able to move side to side.

Has anyone else have this issue and how did you fix it

I have the freedom on my 23 RTL and it fit very well. Use the install kit and not the factory installed grommets. Didn't have any issues installing it.
I did add a rubber spacer to tilt the windshield forward a bit (about 2 degrees) changing the airflow. What year/model are you putting it on. It is possible (sounds like) the mounting hardware is too long. Maybe try adding a washer or 2 to take up the gap causing the looseness.
