I guess the event started yesterday when Fred and Cheri stopped by to get some work done on their RT. They had the brake cable come off of the parking brake and I was able to fix it for them and shoot some video that I've always wanted to shoot. :doorag:

There's a great story that goes with that but I'll post that later.

Fred and Cheri took off for Maggie Valley and soon after Chris (Patches) showed up with his buddies to help get the live feed webcam setup. That was a fight and right now we still have some issues but I'll post a link here as soon as we're ready for prime time. It was raining pretty good by time they got here, if they would of got here an hour earlier they would have been dry.

Right when Chris was leaving Deb and Brian pulled up soaking wet and cold. They had been in some serious downpours for the last three hours and were glad to get out of their wet gear.

After they got dry we went out and had some pizza and did a little shopping to get ready for today. I still have a few things to do but all in all I think I'll be as ready as I'll ever be. There's no rain in the forecast for today, thank you Lord. ray:

Is there a special plug-in required for FireFox?

Firefox is my main browser--- just tried to watch the live feed and couldn't get it to work.......just a blank screen......

I can test it a bit before we head out if you like--- just lemme know...

It's not working for me either.

Maybe I need a newer version of Firefox.:dontknow: I can't try that though, IT has these computers locked up tighter than Fort Knox.

Brake Cable

My parking brake went belly-up yesterday after a year of no problems.:gaah: I suspect that my fix, done with a nylon tie, has broken. I'll take a look when I get to Lamont's.:sour:

I looked for a plug in for Firefox and all it had was various media players that I already have. So I opened one of my video players and it is running in the background and now it works. Refresh the page at Lamont's link. Right now the picture looks black and white, like a negative, but they are working on it.

So far my fix for the same thing is a wheel chock!!! Hope to get it fixed here in Tn. It's a pain to get the chock in BEFORE the byke and trailer start rolling to fast to catch itray: or hop around onn one foot ( other one on foot brake) not my idea of getin things done. !! Sooo see ya at the BBQ!

I've used Firefox for years but something happened about 3 weeks ago and I had to completely remove it from my computer.....

OKAY I've downloaded Foxfire, found the link on Facebook..... but still can't get it to work ....



Have fun you guys!!!! watching live feed won't be as much fun as being there, but the best we can do.

Okay, i've got the link and the Spyderlovers page shows up with the firefox logo and down below that is the live feed......

it is intermittent and as Deb says, it looks like a negative, or maybe it's over-exposed.....
