• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I hope I put this in the proper forum. I have read multiple threads about Pegs, or Floorboards. I can't see straight anymore. I ran out of coffee twice.

Short version which I hope will generate discussion :chat: is this.
I was on Kuryakyn's web page and stumbled across there "Peg mounted cruise mounts" there stock number is 7887 I would have attached a pic but I don't have the compuer savy you do .

Back to the question; can you mount there peg mount, and then attach floorboards on the end, and a peg where the stock peg would mount.

It looks like a quick fix for leg comfort. Your not standing on the floorboards so weight is no issue and you still maintain the pegs. As long as you have a floorboard with a male adapter your good to go, or are you ?

I have fabricated some freaky things over the years, but never on a Spyder and don't want to kill myself.

If you want to change the rider/passenger pegs, you can get the adapters from nomagic. Then you can buy just about any peg you want that has a male adapter "the nomagic adapters are female". I just did this yesterday and like the results. My next step is to get the brakets painted to match the rest of the solution. I used the #8000 pegs from Kuryakyn web site on rider/pass and the highway brakets I got from nomagic. Still need to do some adjusting but I like the looks so far.

I'm not sure how you would make this work on the Spyder. :dontknow:
