• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lalest mod- volt and temp gauge

I ordered these a while back and I just got around to installing them last night. The changed the radiator on the RT so it has a different drainplug but I didn't realize that until I pulled it apart. I'm going to use a T in the upper radiator hose for my temp sensor. I hope to have that here by Tuesday.

This will allow me to see what the temps are related to the bars. :doorag:

Now that you have the digital temp gauge, what are you going to put in the place of the analog gauge?

what's next a 24 wide screen display that shows the road ahead?

I think that he's holding out for a new helmet with a heads-up display... :roflblack:

Lamont,
Question: Does there come a point where all of the "stuff" up on top of the bars and the dash becomes a distraction? nojoke

I like that idea. Wish I knew how to implement it.

What??? sorry I was looking at my dash :joke:

My T fitting came in today and not knowing if it was going to fit or not was holding me back from doing anything but it looks like I guessed the right size (28mm) and I got it in with no leaks. There is very little room where this went and and I had one shot to get it right when I made my cut. I had no replacement hose if I got it wrong.

So I took a run into town and I did some temp readings and with the needle in the middle of the gauge it can be anywhere from 165 to 185. It was 95 degrees here today and the RT ran around 200-210 most of the time. The fan kicks on around 220.

Lamont, what are you worried about?

You must have had AT LEAST a 1 or 2 mm leeway for miscalculation on that cut...
