"Lake of the Ozark Ride" Missouri..

Ok you Missouri riders lets do a run on 16 July 2010 (Saturday) to "Lake of the Ozarks" and enjoy the sites while hanging out at the "Horney Toad" or some other place is fine,, I'll take recommendations from the group.. How many takers we got??

Tentitive Time Line is:​

Link up at Kum and Go (exit 156) in Waynesville around 2:00 and go from there..

Bumble, G-Man, Mo-Lee, Gene and Len even if none of you folks want to hang out with me, I'm going----Reason for this ride--- Baby shower happening at the house and I need not be here for that,, so LETS DO THIS.. Ice Cream will be in this trip for sure!!!

Scouter Joe, Molee, Spydergene, Guys sounds good! The journeys end is a cool place I went there last year for bike fest at the lake! so it would be cool! It is a dry lot away from the water, The horney todd is right on the water and real close to The Shady gator....both i belive have live music and good food. And for you Gene some good ........well lets just say photo opps lol. I'm in and so is Mike Best, with his new rs phatom........are we on two wheels or 3????:thumbup:

If were on Spyders we should see how many of our 3 wheeled friends we can ralley and invade the lake! if it two wheels im more than good too....got my chopper out a few days ago and have been ryding....man that thing is fun!!! if i could only get a spyder to jump like that......wait i have a plan!

Gene, so sorry brother,, No I do not plan on spending the night but other may want to but for me, its just not gonna work.. I'm game for just about any place, the Journeys End sounds good to me also.. Tell you what, its kind of late but I will search the internet for activities (bands and such) at the Horney Toad and t The Shady Gator tomorrow and see whats going on in them two spots, is there any other spot we may want to hit?? I will post a link to all three places..Off the top of my head I'm thinking Spyders but Hey, we all have two wheels as well,, Up to the group,, I'm game for what ever.... Who else wants to charm in on this one, should be fun boys and girls??

Would love to join you guys but I doubt my ryde will be ready by then. Sucks as it is my weekend off too. You guys have fun though and I'll just wait for the stories afterwards. BTW isn't that the 17th?

Photo opps sounds good to me as well, might make Gene come up with an excuse, we could go to journeys end in the off season. As for the choice of ride, doesn't matter I still feel guilty about not being on the Spyder last weekend, however I am trying to break in a new tire on the Valk, so (It Just Don't Matter).

Those places look like allot of fun----and if I had a grand daughter she would most likely be there.
So I checked around and the VFW has a fish fry for $4.00 and the ladies auxiliary is having Bingo night 5 cards for a dollar.
Everything wraps up about 9:30 and we could get back to the motel and watch the 10 ah clock news together.

No problem Lee, it sounds like you where pleased with the whole Car tire on the Valk ordeal.. Good deal.. Yesturday at the light right after we left Sub Way I was telling you that I hear like a CLICKING noise every so often, not sure you actually understood me however I investigated it today and found the PROBLEM brother,, I took off all the panels in the front and started up the spyder in the shop, I could not find what was clicking but something clicked about every 45 seconds,,, I then took a closer look DEEP inside and it appears that the front Spark Plug Wire boot has a short in it and arcking on the head, Holy Crap dude, its down right now till I can get it taken care of---Glad we ran them vent tubes to the rear of the spyder yesturday right??? Anyway I'm sure Len will charm in on this one after he reads it... Just thought I'd let you know,, its parked and the panels are all off of it where it will remain till fixed..

Ahh don't feel guilty it was good to see you....don't care what you were ryding spyders are cool but so is your other rydes!! i like getting to ryde my chopper every now and then too. hmmm I am thinking they are brave since there is a fair bit of shopping to be done at the lake. No problem, the Coach store is close, I'm sure I could find a new purse, wallet, belt, gloves, umbrella and scarf (well and anything else Coach has that isn't in my closet).

Where was that you wanted to go hang out again?

Well hello there Mrs. Pitbull Buggy, yah you are right, the whole shopping thing could be a bit dangerous however, I know I'm covered cause Lisa will be hosting a baby shower, but I'm not so sure that Len will be safe.. As always you ladies are always welcome to hang out with us so get a baby sitter, put on some leather and tell Len "Lets Ride Babe"... Go for it girl!!! :2thumbs:

Update a bit,, I wrapped the plug wire with electrical tape (for a temp fix of course) and it seems as though it fixed the problem,, No more sparking (Len I didn't say sparky) enough to get it to your shop I'm sure buddy.. Let me know..

Look out "Lake of the Ozarks" here we come!!!
