Thanks for posting these. Also one of my all time favourite groups. Locomotive Breath and Aqualung are 2 of my favourite riding and driving songs. Played LOUD of course.

in 1980 i had the pleasure of cutting all the concert footage for the video "slipstream"
Except for the fact that I noted "quiz kid" as an album (duh Me), I am fairly well versed in Tull. My favorite songs off of Heavy Horses are: Acres wild, and Heavy Horses. I was not a huge fan of storm watch, but I have the album and live versions of Dun Ringill on my ipod. The album released in 1978 (one year before storm watch) "Bursting Out" was a great live compilation album, and was much of what the "Slipstream" dvd was based on. "Songs from the Wood" is the album that calls to my Scottish heritage. Songs from the Wood, Velvet Green, Jack-in-the-Green, are great tracks off of that album, but my favorite is The Whistler, in which Ian uses an irish penny whistle instead of a flute. Broadsword and the the Beast has several great tracks, but Slow Marching band is my favorite there. I loved the first Thick as a Brick album, but TAAB 2 is not high on my list of favorites. I also have a DVD and live album combo of "Nothing is Easy: Live at the Isle of Wight 1970". An interesting note about that show: Ian met Jimi Hendrix for the first time, and they really hit it off. Jimi would die less than a week later.
Could you imagine the album those 2 would have made?
Just sayin'............
